Grief is a journey that changes over time and can come and go for many years. It’s natural to experience a wide range of feelings, including sadness, anger, or numbness, and at times you may feel low or disconnected from everyday life. With time, care, and support, it’s possible to carry your loss with you while finding ways to move forward and reconnect with life. Acknowledging both the loss and your healing process is an important part of this journey — and we are here to support you.
The new monthly activity Space to Grieve replaces Grief & Writing and offers a supportive space to connect with your grief in various ways, such as writing, sharing, creative expression, meditation, or walking together.
About the trainer:
This training is given by Marloes Harkema - author of a book on grief.
After having lost her husband when she was 28, she discovered how healing it is to write and how essential it is to connect with others. Now, 10 years later, she facilitates writing workshops, walks and talks on grief. She works as a communications trainer and coach for the university and as Buddhist coordinator for Spectrum, Student Chaplaincy Wageningen.
