Did you know the way you breathe is crucial to your thoughts, emotions, relaxation & recovery? It even affects the way you move and hold your body. Breathing right is a powerful tool to feel - and study - relaxed, be focused and sleep well.

Do you want to learn to listen to the signals your body is giving you and discover how to better cope with challenges and setbacks? Then keep reading!

Relaxed Body, Peaceful Mind

Would you like to learn how to deal with challenges and setbacks better, to experience more clarity and focus? To prioritise better and sleep more soundly?

Over four sessions, you will learn how breathing, emotions, thoughts, tension and relaxation are all closely connected. We will also look at how to recognise signals from your body and how to handle stressful situations.

For whom?

  • Continuously experience performance pressure
  • Feel like they always have to be “switched on”
  • Feel restless or anxious
  • Struggle with concentration
  • Have trouble sleeping or feel very tired, especially during stressful periods
  • Are sensitive to stress and suffer from it

  • Discovering Patterns
    Discover how your breathing, emotions, thoughts, tension and relaxation are continuously influencing each other.

  • Signals from your Body
    Recognise daily signals from your body and how you can influence them during stressful situations.

  • Increase your Resilience
    Increase your 'window of tolerance', the zone in which you can handle your stress well, and find the balance between activation and relaxation.

  • Put Knowledge into Action
    To make a real change, we need more than just knowledge about the body. The prefrontal cortex helps us control ourselves. In our final session, we'll figure out what helps you when you're very stressed. How can you bring yourself back into balance when things get tough?

About the trainer

This training is given by Marjon van Opijnen - body-oriented therapist and breathing coach.

She mainly focuses on how we can use our body and breathing to live a more relaxed life. Everything is connected with everything else, so relaxing is about how we are physically 'wired', but also about our emotions, mind and cognitions.
